Location & Getting There:
We can arrange a chauffeured luxury vehicle or you may wish to self-drive. You'll travel along the iconic Great Alpine Highway, a scenic drive from Christchurch.
90-minute drive from Christchurch Domestic & International Airport;
Take a Heli with an incredible journey over the patchwork of Canterbury Plains, the braided Waimakariri river, the snowy peaks of the Alps, and the lush beech forests of the valleys. A half-hour direct flight from Christchurch.
Arrive by helicopter in a half-hour flight from Christchurch;
Arrive on the TranzAlpine, one of the great train journeys of NZ, coast to coast through the Southern Alps. Travel over the Canterbury plains, ascend rugged mountains, travel through tunnels, over dramatic viaducts, and around lush lake valleys.
Arrive by train.

The Homestead – sole use only
1-4 guests, 2 bedrooms

There is garage parking, security gates and a fabulous entrance. Private use of the tepid swimming pool & spa pool. On the terrace is also a fire pit and a BBQ area.
Included in the Homestead stay is: Private Chef & Attendant. Daily breakfast – continental or cooked with barista coffee, Daily lunch – picnic or a relaxed style, plus also daily Sugarloaf snacks. Nightly evening canapés, 4 course dinner each night, (family style, BBQ, or Sugarloaf fine dining). Selection of NZ wines, beers and house spirits, as well as all the usual: Soft drinks, juices, sparkling and chilled water, coffee and tea.
Use of Telescope to view these extraordinary night skies. You're literally under the Southern Hemisphere's Milky Way with no light pollution. This unique environment is where you’ll find beauty and tranquillity every day you're here.

Guests staying at both the Homestead and the Villa’s can enjoy Sugarloaf.
